Location: WA From: S.T. BRANCH
Attention: MARK STEVENS Title: MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT
Subject: COUNTERACT ELECTRONIC RUST PROTECTION SYSTEM.

To CounterAct

Att: Mark,

After our telephone conversation yesterday, yes we do intend using more of the CounterAct electronic corrosion protection systems.

We first installed a CounteAct in a Wagner ST7.5 Loader about 2 years ago. The machine left this site some 2 months later and I lost site of it until January of this year.

We had used a grinder to polish an area under a wheel arch to monitor the success or otherwise of the system. I was pleased to see that the unpainted patch was still free from rust. As we are in the planning stage of replacing our underground fleet, we are including CounterAct on each new machine. In fact we have just purchased an Elphinstone R1700 to which we have fitted the system. The cost of the CounterAct system is negligible compared to corrosion problems underground, even in the first few months of a machines service life.

Best regards,

Stan Branch.
