Let's face facts an off road 4x4 truck, suv or jeep is exposed to a completely different corrosion environment than a typical auto. That's one reason why CounterAct produces rust protection accessories for such a wide variety of motor vehicles. As well as environment, size plays a role in rust and corrosion protection also. Just as larger trucks, vehicles and structures require more paint to cover their surfaces than smaller ones require, it's only common sense that larger vehicles or structures with more surface area require more corrosion protection than smaller ones as well.
Accordingly, since CounterAct protects your vehicle or structure with its exclusive electrostatic process, we have designed and produced a wide range of diversified power supply modules with a larger output over a greater range of potentials and employing greater numbers of our "programmed capacitive couplers" in a range of sizes designed for fitting a particular need.
We would not insult your intelligence by claiming one size fits all or putting a pickup truck sized system on a 250 ton rock truck! Neither would we encourage any client to waste their hard earned money on more corrosion protection than a careful technical assessment recommends or a prudent safety factor mandates.
Of course as our system depends on capacitive coupling for its electrostatic effect, the proper amount of capacitance created on the protected metal body is critical. That's why CounterAct employs various and differing "programmed capacitive coupler" designs for different classes of vehicles and structures.
It's also why, in keeping with the most elementary laws of electronics that anyone with an electronics background learns in their first Electronics 101 class, CounterAct uses a range of power supply modules with each capacitive coupler charged by an individual circuit. For the CounterAct process to be effective in a multi-coupler configuration each capacitive coupler must be wired in parallel never in series!
With this in mind, all of our systems are overbuilt and designed to protect vehicles or structures up to 33% larger than the maximum size class on which we permit their installation. CounterAct calls this our "Assurance Factor" and it guarantees our clients that they will get the most corrosion protection for their money without forcing the client to spend more money than is necessary.
