Woolamai Beach SLSC took delivery of a new Ford Courier crew cab in November 1999, which was fitted with the Counteract  system approximately six weeks later.

Our lifesaving club, on Phillip Island, is situated on one of the most rough and treacherous patrolled beaches in Australia. It is continually exposed to heavy weather originating in the Southern Ocean. This type of weather means we have an ongoing problem with rust in our vehicles after only a short period of time. This has a significant effect on resale value and maintenance expenses.

After 2 seasons of use, our current vehicle shows none of the usual signs of corrosion on the suspension and steel wheels. The paint also shows no signs of oxidation.

We are very satisfied with the effectiveness of the CounterAct system and will not hesitate to fit it our new vehicle when we take delivery later in the year. We are also intending to fit the system to our next four wheel motor bike.

The CounterAct  system has definitely been beneficial to our lifesaving club, and we can thoroughly recommend it.
